With Ecomii, we teamed up with a few colleagues and friends to put out content that is useful for everyone who thinks the same way and wants to do everything the eco-friendly way.
We learnt that there’s so much noise out there about what’s good or bad for the environment so we decided to do some clarification on what we think is best and what everyday decisions you can make in your own life when purchasing a product, renovating your home, doing the laundry or going on holiday.
Therefore we plan to put together lots of eco-friendly product reviews that help your shopping decisions and also plenty of support materials on green living including housing, cleaning, clothing, eating and so on.

My name is Catherine, I’m an environmental engineer originally from the US, but lived in 7 different countries in the past 15 years. For the time being I’m in Europe and planning to stay a few more years. I’m a mother of 2 kids and I’m dedicated to save the planet for them both in my professional life and as a hobby. I will primarily write articles about green living and also plan to do many product reviews primarily from an eco-friendly point of view.
I’m Peter, a chemical engineer and father of 2 kids. I’m very much interested in the environmental impact of certain chemicals that are used in or during the manufacturing process of everyday products that we use, eat, wear or play with. I primarily write in this area, however I’m also a big fan of solar technology and got involved with the topic in the past few years pretty deeply, so you will often hear my opinion and read my product reviews about solar gadgets.
I’m happy to be part of the Ecomii journey, our goal is to deliver great content that helps you make more eco-friendly decisions every day.
Hi, I’m Elaine. I’ve been writing ever since I was a little kid (I was about 6 or 7 years old when I wrote my first page-long short story). Now that I’m an adult and plugged through four years of college and worked on several different blogs, I’ve taken up the yoke of a freelance writer.
Being a freelance writer for Ecomii means that whenever I write an article for them, I’m actually writing about things that will make a difference in the world. Whether it’s that some brands of sunscreen are actually toxic for your skin, or that cast iron frying pans are THE best pans for your health and for cooking, the knowledge I get to share on this website will hopefully help people make the switch to eco-friendly practices and products that are better for their wellbeing and the environment.
I’m Teresa, a professional freelance writer, enthusiastic about environmental issues. I will write plenty of useful articles with the aim to assist you in living a more eco-conscious life.
I’m happy to be part of a mission to share how people can live well causing less harm to the environment. I can contribute to this by identifying & sharing truly eco-friendly products for homes and families.
Hello, my name is Hannah! During the day, I’m an editorial assistant at a cancer research publishing house; at night, I’m a freelance science writer and also currently pursuing a master’s degree in science writing at Johns Hopkins University. My passion is for environmental science and I love writing about it for audiences of all backgrounds. I’m thrilled to be part of the Ecomii team and I look forward to talking about many more environmental topics in the future.
